 Moving Forward . . .

On March 13, Bishop Murray gave us permission to move forward with the key next steps of our capital project at the Saint Philip Church and Saint Philip Catholic Central site. He approved the expenditure of over $3 million raised through our “In the Spirit of Community” campaign. This will allow the following projects:

  • Improvements in the parish and school boiler system,
  • Construction of a Parish Center including a new cafeteria, restrooms, and lobby space,
  •  New school administrative offices and new bleachers and lighting for the gymnasium,
  • Demolition of the current Saint Philip cafeteria and social hall,
  • New parking lot and landscaping.
This is a continuation of the work already begun at Saint Philip, which already has totaled more than $1 million in work at the downtown site. As we move forward with the capital campaign, our sights will be set on the complete renovation of the current high school building.
